BLACK HISTORY MINI DOCS - MARCUS GARVEY
MARCUS GARVEY born on. August 17, 1887 was a phenomenal Black Nationalist and Pan-Africanism Movement leader. He inspired the Nation of Islam, the Rastafarian Movement and millions of black people around the world. Self-educated, Garvey founded the Universal Negro Improvement Association, dedicated to promoting Black liberation and a return to Africa.
This mini doc was written and narrated by Ron Bobb-Semple, an accomplished actor and Garvey impersonator who has performed his one-man tribute show "the Spirit of Marcus Garvey", enthralling countless audiences, including Garvey's son, relatives and Garvey-ites around the world.
